How State Education Agencies Help Districts Develop Productive Relationships with External Providers RCC

Published Curated on March 05, 2015

This collection was curated by the ARCC to complement a 2015 series of online “fireside chats” for their states.

The complex process of school reform often requires schools, districts, and states to enlist the assistance of outside expertise to increase their capacity to implement school turnaround models. This collection is inspired by a chapter from The State Role in School Turnaround handbook, entitled "Navigating the Market: How State Education Agencies Help Districts Develop Productive Relationships with External Providers."

WIth assistance from the chapter author, staff of the ARCC and the Center on School Turnaround offer this collection of resources to help state education agencies as they in turn help districts manage their relationships with school turnaround providers.
