This report spotlights efforts where mapping indicators are developed from education, health and housing, and child care, and then layered on a single map to show the challenges faced by marginalized populations from a geographic perspective. The case studies of use of county and neighborhood data to unearth trends and disparities demonstrate why advocates should demand more and better-quality data collection, especially data on subsets of racial groups that may show striking differences in well-being.
